What:
We developed a custom injection-molded enclosure for a client’s electronics product, creating a protective, durable, and visually appealing housing. The goal was to generate a design concept that met both functional and production requirements, ensuring seamless integration with internal components and efficient mass production.
How:
Using SolidWorks, we designed a precise 3D model, optimizing for material properties, assembly efficiency, and cost-effective manufacturing. We collaborated closely with the client to integrate the electronics and refine the design for injection molding, balancing strength, weight, and thermal management. We also provided technical drawings and guided material selection and production techniques.
Outcome:
The final design was successfully prototyped and prepared for mass production, meeting functional and aesthetic requirements. Our optimized approach improved manufacturability, ensuring a smooth transition to production while maintaining cost efficiency, resulting in a high-quality, durable enclosure that enhances the performance and appeal of their electronics product.
